money online is by helping other people get the results that they desire then I lay out the first three steps for them which is generally speaking step one step two step three find a niche grow an that I have going on so fully utilizing your navigation is one of the best ways for you to further engage the traffic who is reaching your blog regardless of where they are coming from and that brings up the question well where are these people coming from to get your blog this is the second way that I use my blog is my link in BIO so I've got 878 videos here on YouTube I've had over 12 million views on my YouTube channel and when people new people to my world find my videos on YouTube they'll often go to my channel page maybe they want to come here to subscribe but they will then see my on I'm using a plugin called the pretty link plugin this is a free WordPress plugin that allows me to go take this crazy affiliate link and really condense it down to something that's memorable something that's easy for me to remember something that's easy for me to speak out in a video and something that's easy for me to add into an email or a social post when relevant and when you start to remember all those short URLs for your opt-in pages like I've got one miles becker.com free and that redirects over to my opt-in page um this allows you the freedom to start to leverage multiple platforms potentially right I'm promoting dozens if not hundreds of different affiliate links through my website through my YouTube videos through my blog posts through my automated emails etc etc and I don't have to go remember each and every one of those plus pretty link allows me to go in and see how many times they've all been clicked on which helps me kind of keep track of my data so I think that alone is one of the best reasons to be using a Blog that you manage and WordPress is you know it gives you the ability to add plugins like pretty Link in order to run those redirects and a little Pro tip there you don't need the pro level you can get away using just their Free level to run your redirects and then the number five reason is because I host all of my lead page landing pages on my of lead page What I've Done personally is I've set up a second WordPress installation on my blog at for SL pages and what that does is it allows me to run all of my lead Pages under this SL Pages domain I do this because I just don't really want to have all of my landing pages on my main blog that has all of its native plugins because there is a conflict potential with plugins not playing friendly with each other so I have a separate WordPress installation on my blog so I actually have two WordPress installations on my blog one at/ pages that has like nothing else on it other than this one Pages landing page and it's super easy for me to go in I just choose a page I type in the URL I want and voila so you can see right here at Miles becker.com Pages sales breakthrough this allows me to promote my sales breakthrough bundle here on my own website if I really want to get tricky with this I would then set up a redirect so I could do miles becker.com breakthrough so I could remember that easily I could speak that out easily on a video and if somebody goes to miles.com breakthrough it would redirect to sales this exact URL don't go there cuz I don't think it'll work I'll put this link inside of the description if you want this but I'm just kind of helping you understand how you can use these different Technologies together and those are the five ways that I'm still using my blog I'm still going to keep my blog up and running so what's changed right like there's been a lot of freak out from the SEO World from the blogging community and the niche site community so what's actually changed the only thing that has changed is the Reliance on Google to be your main source of traffic is a Fool's Adventure at this point in time time in our world because Google is showing that they can't be trusted as the sole source for traffic for your blog but that just means you need to go drive more traffic to your blog you can create Pinterest pins you can go into Facebook groups to promote your content you can run a Facebook fan page you can create a YouTube channel you can do Tik Tok you can do Instagram you can do LinkedIn you can go on quora there are a million and one places that you can go grow your audience and drive traffic to your blog and once they're on their blog you've learned the five ways that you can engage them more you can help them better you can display more affiliate links you can earn more revenue and ultimately you can promote all of your products and offers as seamlessly and effectively as possible on your blog this is why I love my WordPress blog I'm never going to change my WordPress blog and I'm going to keep adding to it and making it better because that thing just makes me a ton of money because it's all set up and structured in a way to be useful for my audience who are looking to solve their problems and when you really follow through on helping your audience get what they want and leverage these blog based
