hello this is Becky with the Kartra Education
team! Today I'm going to quickly show you how to add a Kartra form onto a Kartra page. So
starting out here in my account I'm just on the main dashboard I'm going to go into Pages
and All pages. Now, before I do this I have already created a form um that I'm going to use to
capture people's contact information so that's my opt-in form if you need to do that still it's a
good place to start you can find the forms under contacts and forms and create a new one here uh
but because we're creating our page that the form is going to go on we're going to pages so click
plus page in the upper right corner I'm going to start out this is going to be a new opt-in
page for me I so not going to select a category or a site for now you can leave those blank or
fill them out as needed under templates you can either create a completely custom page uh start
blank if you like or you can choose a page type for me I'm going to start with a squeeze page.

Squeeze page is a term for a type of page where you are collecting a person's information so you
might also hear a term like a "lead capture" page, an "opt-in" page, something like that. I'm going
to choose that and the reason I'm choosing that is because each one of these templates will
already have a form component on it and I'm going to use that component to link to the form
that I created. So looking through the templates I just want to choose one that appeals to me I'm
going to choose this one come over here and click create so and then we're going to scroll down so
we're in the page builder here's where you can edit any of the text on the page like this um
you know if you need to change the text update that you can edit any of the images um but for
this we are just editing the forms you can see this here it says placeholder the way to link this
to the form that I already have created I'm going to click that placeholder click the edit icon
here and then just select the opt-in form that I created for this so this is going to be my Free
eBook Opt-in so I select that and I click apply and now you can see that my form has been filled
in so from here if as soon as I have the rest of the page customized all the text is updated I have
my logo added um then I could just go to actions and publish live and then my page is going to be
published I'll show you this publish live on this page here you click get the page link and this
link now I can share this in emails I can put add this a link to it from my website I can add it to
my social um profiles this will let people visit this page that I just created and opt in through
my form um one really quick good thing here I want to show you is you can edit this URL if you have
a custom domain connected you would select it from that dropdown um and then you can also change this
ending part to make it more customized as well oh so can do that and then this would be my URL
that I would share so I want to show you a couple more options that you have as well so if you want
to add a different type of a form or if you want to change the style of this uh if you're starting
from a blank page or you just want to change the style of a template you have a couple other
options that you can do so one thing would be to add a new section to your page um and as you're
working through the page you'll see these buttons here that show up add section and that will let
you put a whole new um like a a full width section to the page so we'll add that um and then there
are some more and these are like templated blocks that you can add in here so from the side if you
look down here there's one called Opt-in Forms and these are some additional template type options
that you can add and incorporate into into other page designs so if I wanted to do one of these I
could just select any one that I want add that to my page and then again just like we just did, you
would click the form component, click edit style, and then select your form whatever form you
want to add here so that puts that in there uh and then your final option is you can also
just add the form component if you don't want deal with the template you don't want to add in
whole sections you can also go to components um and there is a these are all the different types
of components things that you can add to a page go down here to forms and choose the type of form
that you want to do um and then just drag it into into your page so you drag it in here and exactly
the same way that we just did, just click edit and link to the form that you want to add to the
page.
So that's three different ways that you can add a form to a Kartra page they're all pretty
similar process you just have a some different templating options to give you more flexibility.
