Tik Tok is on the verge of being banned in the United States which might seem like bad news for a lot of people although for those of us who know what's going on it's a huge opportunity to make money in fact over 80 billion are at stake and people just like me and you can get a hold of this money in a very simple way but first we need to understand exactly what's going on why is this platform getting banned where is the money going to go how do we get the money and more importantly what about all the creators making a living on Tik Tok are they just going to be out on the street looking for a new job or is there hope and that is where we come in providing hope to creators is a huge money-making opportunity so if you're excited smash a like button let's dive in the computer and I'll show you exactly step by step several ways to make money with the Tik Tok ban and this isn't just about Tik Tok what you learn in this video can work work crossplatform so whenever there's a hiccup or an influencer not making money or someone with an audience that isn't monetizing you can help them out and get paid big money and it's actually super simple so come on let's dive in the computer and economy has to do with Tik Tok and how it is going to help you make money first of all the Creator economy is valued at over $250 billion globally and expected to reach 480 billion now these are conservative numbers I actually think it's a lot higher because there's a lot of people who don't report what they're doing to these people who actually calculate it a lot of us are just making money and we go about our day with that so what we're seeing here is that the Tik Tok shutdown could wipe out $1.3 billion do in the US now these are interesting numbers because Tik Tok is said to have made about $72 billion last year alone which tells us that this economy is a lot bigger than you might think where this is saying it's going to wipe out 1.3 billion if Tik Tok is making $72 billion off of all the traffic they get on Tik Tok just imagine how much that is for each creator that has their own website their own products their own links different things like that it is actually a way way bigger number so what this stands to do is much bigger than most people think now first of all let's take a look at some of the major platform disruptions and things that happened in the early 2017 we had the vine shutdown where a lot of people creators that were on Vine went to YouTube I Believe don't don't qu quote me on this but I believe that's where the Paul Brothers came from they were big on Vine they switched to YouTube got popular there and now they have a big giant multi-million dollar operation now the creators back then went from from Vine to YouTube and Instagram they built larger more Diversified audiences so the key lesson in that one was to diversify your platforms and repurpose your content the Paul brothers did that that's why they made money very interesting there we also saw that there was a Tik Tok ban in IND in 2020 a lot of the creators moved their content to Instagram and YouTube shorts and local platforms to their area again one of the key things here was early adoption of alternative platforms can maintain growth we saw a lot of people when tikt came out they got huge faster than ever because they were new on the platform now were they sustainable that goes to be seen we don't know yet some of them were some of them weren't in 2018 we had a Facebook page reach decline where businesses went and instead of focusing on Facebook reach they focused on email lists websites and paid ads this is one of the keys where we're going to talk about how to make money the lesson there was to build a direct audience through websites and email marketing then of course we had the YouTube adpocalypse which wasn't so much of a platform shutdown it was more of a you can't make money on the platform or as much money as you were making before now one of the things that I've been a big proponent of over the years is the fact that most people that are using these platforms and making money with the ads on these platforms are leaving a lot of money on the table where a lot of people are getting you know a couple of cents per thousand views I'm getting a much bigger rate because of the way I monetize my audience this is super key this is super important and with the shutdown on Tik Tok you're going to see a lot of people scrambling for money and when people Scramble for money that's a place where those that know what they're doing can make a ton of money by helping them out in the YouTube ad apocalypse we saw that creators Diversified income with patreon this is when patreon get big we're going to talk about that in just a minute sponsorships and digital products this is why you have platforms like school like stand store and all these others getting huge because these creators need to monetize Their audience now if there's someone out there making money on Tik Tok or Instagram reels or whatever it is and that gets shut down or whatever happens they need to be able to shift and make more money they need to be able to take their audience somewhere else and maintain that audience because if you're just keeping it in one place then You're vulnerable to a lot of things so let's talk about these strategies to help creators move platforms and make money post Tik Tok like what happens when Tik tok's gone first of all we need to help people migrate to other platforms so learning the skill of downloading getting rid of the watermark uploading retitling and repurposing for other content platforms is going to be key key if you could teach people to go from Tik Tok to Instagram maintain their audience and even build a new audience then they are going to be very happy and they will buy things from you and you can serve that purpose because a lot of creators don't have time to switch their stuff over and now that there's AI this is an absolute GameChanger and it makes it super easy we can have it retitled we can have it repurposed we can create notes and create a blog for them which gets us into number two website and personal brand development building websites to host content blogs and personal portfolios products things like that is absolutely key this is why we see the rise of things like stand store Lincoln bio and all these other platforms making millions and millions of dollars with billion dollar valuations because creators don't know how to monetize and in my opinion most of these platforms are set up for ease of use not conversion we want conversion because if you can make 10 times as much on the same audience then wouldn't you kind of want to make 10 times as much of course and that's what you're going to show people how to do learning how to teach them to launch Shopify web hosting setting up merch courses or digital products is going to be key and this is actually very easy if I set this up for someone it takes me literally 20 minutes I can get $150 commission when they get web hosting or $300 commission when they get Shopify I can actually charge them on top of the commission I get for setting up custom things to help them monetize Their audience also helping them get domain names can I get them a good domain name using the tools and the things that you learn here on this channel yes you can help them with that also growing email list can you teach them how to get a email list and the importance of that using different tools and helping them make simple landing pages long video or a bunch of long videos into short videos all kinds of different things like that to meet the audience where they're at we can go to Facebook and Instagram reals and different things of that nature also another thing you can help them with is finding affiliate marketing products for Their audience maybe you go out there to someone who's sharing videos with their dog right and they're like hey look at my dog and they don't know how to monetize the audience so we could actually go through and monetize that audience in a very very simple way showing them what affiliate programs to use can they sign up at ClickBank can they sign up over here how can they build this stuff in a way that's actually going to work for them you can go out there teach them how to use Amazon Associates and find the right offers how to promote the offers how to do the disclaimers ClickBank um doing you know offer Vault Max Bounty all kinds of affiliate programs to help them also you can help them set up paid ad strategies to monetize their channels even more and to build their reach a lot of people don't know that building a campaign with a paid ad strategy is actually a lot faster than doing organic and it's not as expensive as you might think you can get views for pennies and convert them into an audience if done correctly and you can teach people how to do this so what we're going to do is we're going to teach them how to do this with courses content repurposing platform switch Services web hosting content Services audience management where you could go through and actually help them engage with their audience build a mailing list engage with the list and make more money also affiliate monetization and web hosting and tools a lot of these will pay anywhere from a couple of bucks were able to make as much as $25,000 within I think it was 19 days of promoting and we weren't even promoting it that big but we actually made it on the top of their leaderboard and got all kinds of over 144 million a year and their valuation is actually way higher than that and in my opinion the platform leaves a lot to be desired also link tree which I think leaves way more to be desired this one is a 1.3 billion dollar valuation this is showing hey people are using this stuff it is making money however from my standpoint as a direct response marketer most people are failing miserably when it comes to monetizing their audience we can also see patreon here which has a postm money valuation meaning the value of the company as of 2021 was $4 billion and in my opinion patreon is not ever the best way to monetize your audience it kind of came from like the buy me a coffee type thing where you're asking people to get something exclusive but the pages don't convert well and one of the big things that a lot of people are doing is they're sending people to stand store linkoln bio and patreon which is making all of that traffic and all of the link power go to another place where what risk if you're out there and you're not diversifying if you're not collecting a mailing list if you don't have a website you are literally waiting wasting money right now and if you don't well then
